The narrow aisle forklift has been made to work in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the aisle width. Yale makes the double reach NDR and single reach NR models that are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has various stance and control handle configurations and apply best-in-class ergonomics.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To meet a wider variety of operations, there are numerous control handle configurations such as the choice of fore, the aft stance, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology provides fast lifting speeds along with strong acceleration and deceleration. It has been made for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of loads transported in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly consists of tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings. This increases the mast rigidity and durability; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, and the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds greatly enhance the overall throughput and productivity.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a great function that maintains lower oil operating temperature while reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: In order to really reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The operator can adjust the steering tiller and the technician could adjust the steer effort in order to reduce operator fatigue. During the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also known as narrow aisle and very narrow aisle trucks. These equipment are made for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors elevate both the operator and the load to its required height. This height could be in excess of 30 feet. Similar with most turret trucks they are generally wire or rail guided when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
