Skyjack was purchased by Linamar Corporation, LNR on the TSX in August the year 2002. Linamar is known for being a top manufacturer of modules, assemblies and precision-machined parts. Linamar's solid balance sheet provides Skyjack with long-term stability and increased strength overall. Skyjack currently has production facilities in Hungary, the US and Kent with support offices in Asia and Europe.

The company provides a complete line of self-propelled scissor lifts. Several models have elevated work heights up to 56ft. Skyjack became a leader within the business by offering equipment features that combined durability, serviceability, service and quality, making Skyjack scissor lifts known throughout the world for product reliability. The company's current Boom lift model lineup consists of telescopic booms. These models provide telescopic booms that feature work heights varying from 45 to 71 feet. In the month of August the year 2007, the purchase of Volvo's Material Handling Equipment business complements the purchase of Carelift Equipment.
