Used Carelift Zoom Boom Kent

Rough terrain forklifts have been manufactured by CareLift Equipment, ever since the year 1962. Every day the company strives to deliver value and help all their consumers reach their objectives because they know the bottom line is performance and reliability.

Boom lifts are available in 2 general kinds, the articulated boom lift and straight boom lift. Both these units are normally powered hydraulically. Most often straight booms are the great option for tasks which need a high reach with no obstructions. The turntable on the equipment is capable of rotating 360 degrees with an extendable boom. This extendable boom could be vertically raised to below horizontal. As the operator could steer and maneuver the vehicle while the boom is completely extended, it is a versatile equipment. These units are available in 4 wheel drive and 2 wheel drive, as well as diesel, propane or gas configurations.

Articulated boom lifts are utilized for lifting cargo up and over obstacles and gain access to areas which were otherwise unaccessible. These lift units carry out jobs which straight telescopic booms cannot do. These lifts are almost identical to the straight boom lift in most aspects except in the boom's ability to articulate. There are various articulation points on the boom in order to allow it to bend in a variety of different directions allowing it to easily move around any objects within the work site.

In order to maintain stability while the boom lift is completely extended, several heavy-duty boom lifts come outfitted with outriggers. The outriggers provide the operator with some extra confidence and safety. Correct training is necessary prior to utilizing boom lifts so as to guarantee the operator, the jobsite and everyone working in the vicinity stays safe.

Boom lifts enable tasks that used to require a lot more man power to be carried out in a much shorter time period. These equipment have greatly increased production and have revolutionized the material handling industry.
